Norway: 11 first songs for the Norwegian MGP 2009 E-mail

Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix 2009 - Eurovision Norway 200911 songs out of 18 were announced by NRK, the Norwegian broadcaster, for the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix 2009.

The artists who will perform the songs were not revealed yet.

The songs are:
  1. Two of a kind (Andreassen /Bloom)
  2. Ride (Marte Wulff)
  3. Seven Seconds (Simone Larsen)
  4. Do it again (Sørvaag/Sommerdahl)
  5. Tricky (Sørvaag/N2)
  6. Find my girl (Alexander Stenerud)
  7. Fairytale (Alexander Rybak)
  8. Sweeter than a kiss (Ingebrigtsen/Samuelsen)
  9. Men, men, men! (Hilde Marstrander)
  10. U Look Good (Surferosa/Westby)
  11. Butterflies (Aaberge/Eriksen/Skåre)
The 18 songs in total, will be separated into three semi finals, out of which just the two first songs will pass to the final. The third and fourth song of each semi final will be given a second chance.

The dates of the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix are:

24/01/09 – 1st Semifinal
30/01/09 – 2nd Semifinal
07/02/09 – 3rd Semifinal
14/02/09 – Second chance
21/02/09 – National Final

Last year Norway participated in Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with Maria Haukaas Storeng and the song 'Hold on, be strong' which got the 5th place.
