TRT, the Turkish broadcaster, presented officially earlier today Hadise in a press conference as the Turkish participant in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009.

Present was İbrahim Şahin, the TRT director, who stated that they won't press Hadise and that she is free to choose song, language, outfit and partners. Moreover he just gave a hint to include Turkish language and instruments in the song.

Hadise stated that she speaks Dutch, French, Turkish and English and "Maybe I can come with a surprise at all".



Hadise was asked about her choice to represend Turkey instead of Belgium, where she lives. She replied that she has already won awards for Belgium and that now it is Turkey's turn.

During the press conference it was clear that Turkey goes to Eurovision Russia with 'A view to a win'!
