Tonight was the debut for Sakis Rouvas, the Greek participant in Eurovision 2009, in the premiere of the live shows of the greek version of the talent show X-Factor.

The greek version of X-factor will be broadcasted by a private channel every week and through satellite to Europe, USA and Australia. The show is already successfull in many places around the globe and many stars have risen through it like Leona Lewis and Andy Abraham (Eurovision UK 2008).

Despite his previous experience of hosting Eurovision 2006, Sakis was a little bit uneasy at the beginning of the 3-hour show, but as the time went by, 'butterflies' flew away and he was getting really better.

The greek version of the X-Factor seams that it has a connection with Eurovision Song Contest. Past Eurovision participants are involved in it:

• Sakis Rouvas - Host: Greek participant in 2004 with 'Shake it' and 2009. He also hosted Eurovision 2006 in Athens, Greece.
• George Theofanous - Judge: Composer of 'Teriazoume' (Cyprus 1992, performed by Evridiki), 'Eimai anthropos ki ego' (Cyprus 1994, performed by Evridiki) and 'Gimme' (Cyprus 2002, performed by the boy band One). He also conducted the orchestra in 1993 ('Mi stamatas', Cyprus, performed by Zoumboulakis and Van Beke) and in 1995 ('Sti fotia', Cyprus, performed by Alex Panagi).
• Alex Panagi - Vocal coacher: Performed 'Sti fotia' (Cyprus 1995).
• Nikolas Metaxas - Contestant: Participated  and came second (just right after Evdokia Kadi) in the Cypriot final for Eurovision 2007. He has also won a scholarship for the Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA, where Evridiki (Cyprus 1992, 1994, 2007) has studied.
