Maria Haukaas Storeng is the winner of the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix final and will represent Norway with the song "Hold on be strong" to the Eurovision Contest 2008.

She presented the song wearing a deep purple-lillac with a blue touch dress, with two back vocalists on stage.

Norway competes in the 1st semi final this year on 20th May.
